The park has 4 theme areas, a water park, and over 30 exciting rides and rollercoasters. Children and adults alike will enjoy rides such as the Flying Carpet in the Arabian Kingdom, the Screaming Condor in the Wild West, and the Mighty Mountain Flume Adventure in South Pacific. The Leofoo Village Water Park, built in a Greek-island theme, is the latest addition to Leofoo Village, offering another 8 water slides, including a 15 metre tall one, currently the highest in the country. Here, visitors can take the Nairobi Express train to view the animals such as rhinoceros, roaming the safari, and board the Carnivora Area Tour Bus to bring them to the lions, tigers, and bears’ enclosures. For older kids and the more adventurous, there is a special tour in a caged vehicle called Beasts Encounter where one can ride in for an hour while the guide disperses food, causing fierce carnivores such as lions to pounce on the cage. It will take a full day to explore the vast theme park so instead of returning to Taipei, book an overnight stay at the adjacent Leofoo Resort Guanshi. Asia’s only safari resort, Leofoo is built in a safari park where herbivorous animals such as giraffes, rhinoceros, zebras, and lemurs are free to roam. Children will be thrilled to look out of the large windows in the guest rooms to find a giraffe peering back at them, or to be a “Lemur Keeper”, feeding fruits to these playful creatures.
