“This is the first time I’m engaging someone to plan a tour. We’re a motley crew of three, each with our proclivities and preferences, whether it concerns choice of accommodation, modes of transport, and schedule. And for a route less traveled – tracking parts of the old Silk Road to north/northwestern China. Curated Travel came by way of recommendation. Our planner, Maewyn, accommodated our requests with patience. Working with their business partner in China, she took time to probe and make sure she understood our requests and precisely what we needed. Our itinerary underwent a few iterations, and each time she handled our (suddenly thought-of) requests with poise. Her itinerary and travel brief was detailed and easy to follow. While in China, Maewyn also took the trouble to check in with us right on the first day of arrival. Along the way, she helped us deal with emerging issues. All we had to do was to be present and enjoy the trip. My wife has also engaged Curated Travel for her upcoming all-girls’ (off the beaten path) trip to Japan. We are also looking at Maewyn to help us with our trip to Sicily (hopefuly next year!). I suppose it’s obvious that we are very pleased with her services!
